“This snapshot from March 2023 is still one of my all-time favorites — I’d snuck out of the bedroom at 3 AM, and came back to find our rescue pups, Amelia and Bonnie, snuggled up just like this (miraculously staying put long enough for the photo!). Amelia was found starving and covered in ticks under a car before we adopted her in 2022, yet she’s one of the sweetest, most loving dogs we’ve ever had. Bonnie came to us as a timid foster from an Indian Reservation rescue and quickly became Amelia’s inseparable partner in crime, so we made it official. These two have completely transformed our lives, keeping us happier, more active, and laughing every day. Rescue dogs may come with a few challenges… but they just might be the most loyal and loving companions you’ll ever find.”
