• 🇺🇸 To find a Ballot Drop Box or an In-Person Voting location near you, click here. The fella at the voting location at Buckeye City Hall asked me to tell you to vote early or be prepared to wait in long lines on November 5th. That location (Downtown Buckeye) is open on Saturday, 11/02, from 9 AM - 5 PM!

• 🦒 Did you know you can find special coupons (like 2 for 1 entry) to the Wildlife World Zoo inside cartons of Hickman’s eggs? In the past, I’ve gotten mine from Basha’s but my neighbor, Tony, says they are available at Fry’s too! The coupons provide a significant savings so it’s worth your while to track ‘em down!

• ☕️ Degino Coffee Bar is now mobile & has a new location (right across the street from its old location): 407 E. Monroe - Downtown Buckeye.  See linked flier for hours & event info.

• The Mrs. Roper Fundraiser event previously scheduled for 11/15 has been postponed. Stay tuned for the new date which will be sometime in 2025.

• 🎁 Verrado Community Farmers Market is looking for vendors for the Holiday Craft Fair scheduled for 11/17 at The Center on Main in Verrado.

• 🐶 West Valley Animal Rescue is in dire need of travel kennels for dogs. They will take old or new.  See link for more details.

• 💔 Go Fund Me - Help Jacob Vela’s Sons: On October 22, 2024, Jacob Vela was struck by a Goodyear Police Department vehicle while riding his motorcycle on Estrella Parkway. He was a United States Marine, father to 4 boys, and owner of a local landscaping company. If you are so inclined, please consider donating to help his family through this unimaginable loss.

• 👟 8 Chicken Nuggets are taking new or gently worn shoe donations for their Holy Shoe Event on November 8th. Donation days are 11/01 & 11/02. See linked flier for details on how to donate or receive a pair

• 🇺🇲 The Verrado Cheer Boosters have launched their Flag-A-Yard Fundraiser. The ordering process makes it easy to add on addresses so you can gift to others too, all under one order! Surprise your neighbors! Ordering deadline is November 2nd and houses must be within a 10-mile radius of Verrado. I have placed my orders and can hardly wait for the flaggings on November 9th!

• 🍽️ Feed My Sheep provides free freshly prepared meals every 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month at The American Legion in Buckeye | The next one is November 5th from 11 AM - 2 PM.

• 😋 I can’t get over the creativity of this “mystery meat” prepared by AZ Cookie Queen LLC. Check out the labels: “Wicked Witch,” “Nosy Neighbor,” “Monster Meat.” These sell for $4 each! I have 3 sitting on my counter right now and everyone who has seen them thinks it’s real hamburger. 🤣 It is crazy how realistic they look! In addition to this fun treat meat, they also make cookies, quick breads, cookie cakes, cinnamon rolls, and more! See linked page for info and more photos of their delicious goodies!

• 📱If you have terrible cell service at home and also have Verizon, contact them! When we moved into our new house in 2021 and had no cell service here, I called them and then sent me this LTE Network Extender for free. I had mine for months before connecting it and was shocked that it actually worked! I don’t know if you can still get it free, but it’s worth trouble to call them and ask!

• Migraine sufferer? I am! Nothing has helped me more than these homeopathic tablets: Hyland’s Migraine Relief.* Prior to finding these, I would be out of commission for a day or longer. With these, I am 99.99% of the time able to continue working! I have found that with this - or any migraine treatment - it’s best to take them the moment you feel one coming on.
