🐝 Weekly Roundup - Issue No. 32

Hello, Wild West, West Valley!

Spring Fever is in the air and I have the numbers to prove it! Last week’s event listing page set the record for the most-clicked event page to date! And this weekend’s listings are setting a record for the most ever listings! Saturday is 🚀!!!

If you’ve been around a while, you may recall that the reason I started The Buzz in the first place, was because I kept missing things. I finally got so annoyed, I decided to find a solution. The Buzz is also a resource that I actually use and refer to too!

It’s also become a way for me to become more connected to the community and to life here in Arizona. From the messages I receive, many of you feel more connected now too. Last week, I got the kindest message from someone who illustrated that point… It meant so much to me that I’m sharing those ‘Kind Words’ below.

Now let’s get into it, 🐝 cause…

The more you know, the more you go!

~ ❤️ Vanessa

P.S. As I was writing this today, there was a giant ‘boom’ that really shook me up! I immediately posted on social media and many others felt it too. I’ve made a few calls but so far haven’t been able to find out what it was. It felt very much like an earthquake at first, because I heard it before I felt it. I know it wasn’t that, or a sonic boom, or the jets… If I find out more, I’ll post it on The Buzz’s Instagram.

REVIEW: THE VIC BAR + KITCHEN

👏 Oh boy, this has been a long time coming! The Vic is one of my favorite local spots and the place I always take visitors as it perfectly showcases the beauty of the desert and the valley. Plus, the food is really delicious too! So delicious, in fact, that…

FOR THE ❤️ OF DOGS

🐰 Just in Time for Easter! You can have your very own Bunnie! This sweet 7-year-old poodle mix, weighing in at 14 pounds, is the definition of resilience. She arrived at the rescue matted, overweight, and in need of dental care—but with some TLC, she’s on the road to recovery! Bunnie’s lost some weight (you go girl!) and is feeling much better, but she’s still on her wellness journey and would love a home where she can continue with healthy snacks and daily walks.

Bunnie is great with other dogs, good with gentle kids, but would really thrive in a calm, quiet home. She’s doggie door trained, polite, and ready to love you!

Bunnie’s adoption donation includes her vaccinations, deworming, spay, grooming, dental care, microchip, collar, leash, and toys.

🐾 Hop to it! Apply here to adopt Bunnie.
