• 🐶 Funny story: My dad had been trying to rescue a stray dog for several weeks. He was ecstatic the day he was finally able to catch “him” and named him Rocky. The next weekend, my dad was out all day and returned home to find the dog (not a him 😂 ) had 5 puppies. One died at birth, but these 4 remain. As of this writing, they’re 3½ weeks old and starting to crawl. The momma’s name is now Roxy; she’s run away twice, but always returns.

• 🐕 Register your pup or buy tickets for the International All Breed Canine Association’s  2025 Desert Sieger International Dog Show  taking place on March 29th & 30th at Gambel Field in Tonopah. Entries are limited to 250 dogs. Must enter before 3/21.

• West Valley Animal Rescue is in desperate need of dog food. Check out the ways you can donate here.

5-SECOND FACTS ⏱️ 

✈️ I can’t help it, I still have planes on my brain. The above plane—a B-25 Mitchell Bomber—was part of the recent Buckeye Air Fair. The B-25s are massive and sturdy. During WWII, one B-25C was nicknamed “Patches,” as it returned at the end of the war with over 400 patched holes! Check out this video to see what it’s like to fly in the very front—pretty much all windows! 🙀 And, thanks to my friend, Marty Hammond, for sharing her Air Fair photos with me (and with us)!
