🐝 Weekly Roundup - Issue No. 14

🐝 Hello Buckeye!
First, my apologies for the broken links in last week’s issue. While I do my best to catch errors before hitting send, sometimes I miss double-checking every link and those two snuck by me.
Unfortunately, once the newsletter is emailed, I can’t make changes to it. However, I can update the version posted on the website (on Friday), which I did after some of you kindly let me know about the issue (thank you!).
If you ever spot a broken link or error, please reach out, and I’ll happily send you the correct information and/or make the corrections to the posted info.
And, thanks for going easy on me! I’m a perfectionist in recovery! 😉
Now, let’s dive in, 🐝 cause…
The more you know, the more you go!
~ ❤️ Vanessa

IN CASE YOU DIDN’T KNOW 🔎
🌵 New in town? I’ve been here almost 3.5 years and I just learned that The City of Buckeye offers a “New & Existing Resident Orientation.” The next one is January 11th. View class overview & sign up form here.
Sunrise Market (Verrado): Although Studio Linea (breathtaking!) is open for business, Sunrise Market in general appears to me to be far from being finished. I reached out to those in charge and was told there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at the end of January, when The Haymaker opens. I’m excited about all of the shops and especially looking forward to the silversmithing classes at Torch + Kiln!
⭐️ Tiffany Burmeister Topie is seeking volunteers to assist with the upcoming holiday light parade that takes place on December 21st in Verrado. For more information & to help, she’s requested you reach out via text only to 248-721-0131.

THIS & THAT 🐝

Tony, Maggie & Ivy | Happy 30th Anniversary | ©️2024 The Buckeye Buzz
❤️ Maggie & Tony’s 30th anniversary party was last Saturday; I was planning on getting them something for their yard (boring, I know). That was, until I met John & Gina Imming of State 48 Wood Designs at the Verrado Farmer’s Market! Gina engraved this cutting board exactly to my specifications and it’s gorgeous! It reads: “To Maggie & Tony - Happy 30th Anniversary - Love, Your Favorite Neighbors.”
Everything State 48 Wood Designs makes is designed to be functional & beautiful but Tony already said it will be used for display purposes only. Little did I know, he has a cutting board collection. You can find State 48 Wood Designs every Sunday at the Verrado Farmer’s Market.

BUSINESS DIRECTORY 🔗
🚀 Coming in 2025!
This space will soon feature a link to business listings as part of the advertising and sponsorship package options—just one of the ways to share your business in The Buzz!
Thank you for your patience as I finalize the ad packages. There’s a lot to pull together on my end, and it’s taking a bit longer than expected (I could really use a clone! 😅).
I’m genuinely excited about connecting our community with your business and vice versa—that’s the heart of why this newsletter exists. ❤️
If you’re interested about this or want to learn more about other advertising and sponsorship options, email me at [email protected] to join the list to apply.

Until next week…
💌 If you enjoyed this issue, please share it with someone who misses the heat (like me)! 🤣
And, as always, I’m here for any feedback, thoughts, topic suggestions, or if you just want to say hello. Reach me by replying to this email or directly at [email protected].
