š Did you know that more pets end up in shelters on July 5th than any other day of the year? Here are some tips compiled by the City of Buckeye to help your pets cope with the holiday:
Put identification tags on your pet, even if they are microchipped
Have a current photo of all your pets
Create a safe and secure environment for your pet inside your home and turn on music or the TV.
Stay with your pets during fireworks

SMALL BUSINESS OF THE WEEK š§
Briaunna of Saguaro Sweet Tooth has been one of The Buzzās biggest fans since the very start! Itās been so fun following her and seeing the evolution of her offerings. Sheās just rolled out her new self-service Grab And Go ādesserts, sweets, baked treatsā Cart. You can browse the goodies and pay using cash or digital. Bags and forks are provided too! You can also find her treats at Gelato Tavern! Follow her on Instagram for her 4th of July schedule. The regular schedule is:
šļø Thursdays Only | ā° 7am-9pm (or sell out!) | š 31071 W. Osborn Road, Buckeye
Note: The cart is in a residential area so please be mindful and respectful. She also asks that people are honest in paying for any items they take so they can continue to offer this service.

ā£ļøThe next Helping One Woman event has been scheduled for July 16th in Goodyear. Get your tickets here. Registration deadline is 7/9.
šļø The trash and recycling pick up for this week will not change due to the holidayāregular collection will occur on Friday (4th of July). The only holidays that affect services are Thanksgiving & Christmas.
š« Mark your calendars! Community Paws āOne Lump or Two - Christmas in Julyā authentic British afternoon tea party has been scheduled for July 20th at the Center on Main in Verrado. This is one of my favorite fundraisers. The food is delicious! This event is open to the public and it will sell out. Get tickets here!
