“We have housed many cats, they all have very distinct personalities. Giada is 12, rescued as a full grown cat and very much THE lap cat. If you ignore her patting/chin scratching needs, she will give you a 'love bite' to prompt you back into service. She bites me harder then my wife, so it appears that I am the secondary human getting a more determined love bite.”

➡️ Fun Fact: A cat’s purr vibrates at a frequency of 25-150 Hz, which has been shown to speed the healing of wounds and relieve pain. Petting a cat also lowers the level of the stress hormone cortisol. (Even looking at that photo of Giada snoozing, did that for me.)
