In-N-Out Quietly Slid Into Buckeye…

Things got a little… wild around here last week.

Despite the fact that I had spoken with In-N-Out’s corporate headquarters on April 1st and was told no opening date had been scheduled… they quietly set the grand opening for April 3rd with zero major announcements.

Zero. (I’m sure this is done on purpose in an effort to deter the crowds.)

As luck would have it, I got wind of this news right after I hit send on last week’s issue and right when I had just clocked out for a little siesta… when—bam—duty calls. 🚨

I jumped in the car, zipped over the freeway, and confirmed it for myself: Buckeye’s In-N-Out was officially opening the very next day… a historical, long-awaited event!

The reel I made about that has already hit 513,000 views (!!!), pushing my total Instagram views this month to 807,100 (as of this writing). Pretty bananas. 🤯 

I’ll admit it, after 83 weeks of showing up, creating, and building The Buzz from the ground up - by myself - it feels really, really good to see my hard work paying off. So yes, I’m tooting my own horn a little. And, I do thank In-N-Out for their part in that… that reel is being shown far and wide—all over the country—and I’ve had comments like “Where’s Buckeye?” or “We need one in New York!” Ha!
